VIDEO: Regulations Wrecking Recession Recovery
Usually hiring picks up strong after a recession is over. Not so this time. What’s the problem?
Robert Luddy is the CEO of CaptiveAire Systems and a member of Job Creators Alliance. When he started his business many years ago, there weren’t a lot of restrictions in the way of how he ran it and how he hired. Today … very different story. So, some government nitwit politician thinks they know more about exhaust fans than the science of the entire industry. We're regulating ourselves out of an economy. Each one thinks it won't effect them to add regulations to that other guy, to add regulations to their employer. It can only benefit you right? Sure, it can lead you right to unemployment benefits. Right where you deserve to be for allowing these things to happen, for allowing these anti-job-anti-capitalists to gain power. And they get votes, each one unwittingly supporting the collective ideology because they think in some way they will benefit individually. Each one thinks they will get a share of the booty government takes from somebody else. Remember "Button, Button" from The Twilight Zone? Yes it's that simple, people as a whole think just like that.
Let me tell you everything you need to know about collectivism, where nobody has any real property rights. In fact, you've already exercised this to prove the point. "Nobody ever washes a rented car. " We only care for what is our own as you do your own. When the creators of wealth, products, services no longer get enough of a benefit, they will do just what you do, move on to something else. Perhaps the dole. Hey, there is an ideology we can all love, the one where we all are slaves to each other, where we all collect the dole from each other. But that can never work, so before we get to that, that is what the gulag was created to solve. You run the factory, or go to the gulag.
