Michael Reagan: Michigan Unions Should Protest Detroit

In the video below, commentator Michael Reagan takes on the rough behavior that we saw from the BIg Labor protesters in Michigan during the Right to Work votes. Reagan says that if those demonstrators really want something to get angry about, then it should be the damage that their ideas have done to the city of Detroit and – ultimately – all of Michigan.

We have also prepared a chart comparing the employment growth of Michigan versus the rest of the nation and the 23 Right to Work states since 1976 (the first year available from online government records.) Every single one of the Right to Work states also individuallyoutperformed Michigan for employment growth over the period.
